Hello Loves!

I’m back with a product review on something that has got to be my favorite find at the moment! It has also been my ride or die product of all time! Nothing has beat this yet! As you can tell by the title I am reviewing the Kiss Me Heroine Make Long and Curl Super Waterproof Mascara and the Kiss Me Heroine Make Volume and Curl Super Waterproof Mascara. (Those product names are so long!)

Heroine Mascara Long and Curl Super WaterproofThe packaging itself has Japanese writing on it. So if you can’t read japanese and you were to go to your nearest drugstore to pick this up, you’d never be able to find it.  Unfortunately I threw my original packaging which is why I had to find one from google. (photo credit to I must say though, asian cosmetic companies truly make the cutest packaging ever!

Just to give you a background on the type of lashes I have, basically, I have your typical asian lashes; short, thin & straight. Sadly, I wasn’t gifted with long voluminous lashes and I have no patience to deal with false lashes everyday. (Let’s be real, who normal everyday working woman does?) Which is why I am always in the hunt to find the best mascaras in the market.

Being that I have short, thin & straight lashes, I cannot use water-based mascaras or regular mascaras. I always have to use waterproof mascaras because most of them are oil-based which helps to keep the lashes curled upright. If you have the same problem as me, where the curl on your lashes plop down after applying mascara then switch to a waterproof formula. That’s the trick to keeping your lashes girly and curled! However, not all waterproof mascaras give you length, curl and volume. Sometimes, you have to use multiple mascaras just to get the look you want but then again, who has time for that?

Which leads me to this product…

heroine make volume and curl long and curl mascara

Heroine Make long and curl masara

Because the name is so gosh darn long, we’ll just call it the “Heroine Long & Curl Mascara” and the “Heroine Volume & Curl Mascara”. I bought mine when my family and I went to Japan. I didn’t know anything about the brand nor the product itself, I just found the packaging really cute and at that time I was hoarding Japanese makeup to try. Now this is available online on Shopee and IG so no need to worry about where to get it.

The formula on this product is amazing! It lengthens my lashes, keeps the curl and the pigmentation is great! My lashes looked really black and thick, compared to when I have nothing on. As you can see you really can’t see my lashes when they’re completely bare. After applying the Heroine Long & Curl Mascara you can see it made a HUGE difference in how my face looks. (Please don’t judge the minimal makeup look. I really wanted the lashes to stand out and clearly they do!)

Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara Super Waterproof Review

If you have lashes like mine, then you know how it feels when I say this is so exciting! No falsies? No problem! No time to mix different mascaras? No problem! Gone are the days with no lashes makeup look coz I didn’t have the time! Here are my top tips when applying mascara!

  1. Always curl BEFORE applying mascara.
  2. Heat up your curling wand with a blow dryer for 20 seconds to help keep the curl (if you have the time)
  3. Start from the roots of your lashes and wiggle up!
  4. LAYER LAYER LAYER!  One layer of mascara will never be enough if you want really think long lashes!
  5. Combined the Long and curl with the Volume and curl to get an even fuller effect!

And that’s pretty much it!
